Betty Jean Lane, age 86, of Florence, passed away December 6, 2021. Family will receive friends Monday, December 13, from 11:00 – 1:00 at Experience Church and the Funeral Service will start at 1:00. Ministers will be Jeff Street and Justin Pullum. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family.
Jean was preceded in death by her parents, Coleman and Ruby Lane; brother, Charles Lane; sisters, Carolyn Thompson and Shirley Barnes.
Survivors include her siblings, Tommy Lane, James Lane, Donald Lane, Katie Mitchell, Nancy Underwood and Darlene Pullum.
Jean was a precious lady who enjoyed watching TV, working puzzles, and attended church at Lighthouse of Jesus Christ-Experience Church.
The family would like to thank Southern Care New Beacon Hospice, and special thanks to Dana and Misty.

I worked with Miss Jean when I began working at UNA, I will always remember her smile !
Saddened to hear of Jean’s passing. Many struggles her whole life that most of us would never wish to bear.
Hoping she is having a beautiful time now. 🙂
A great Aunt with genuine smiles, wonderful hugs and candid humor. She loved family and Jesus. She is missedby all that knew her.
