  1. I am so sorry to learn of Mark’s passing. He was a wonderful next-door neighbor and friend. I will truly miss seeing him and talking with him. I am comforted to know that he’s in a better place , free from pain, and no doubt playing or coaching on heaven’s baseball team . I know Mark was a dedicated father and that he loved all his family so much. I pray God will comfort each of you and that you will find peace in knowing that Mark is already enjoying his new home where other friends and family were waiting to greet him. May God bless and comfort you with His presence as you mourn the loss of your loved one.

  2. I am so sorry to learn os Mark’s passing. He was a wonderful next-door neighbor and friend and I will miss seeing and talking with him. He was always there to help if I needed anything. It’s comforting to know that Mark has a new body and is probably already playing or coaching on one of heaven’s baseball teams.I find comfort knowing he’s in a beautiful new mansion, reuniting with family and friends, and free of the burdens of this world. I know he was a very dedicated father and cared deeply for all of his family. I pray God will bless and comfort each of you as you mourn and adjust to life without Mark.

  3. Macy, Don and I are so sorry for the loss of your Dad. Please know our thoughts and prayers are with you during this difficult time.

  4. Mary Ann and I send prayers and condolences to Mark’s family and friends. Mark and I worked together for many years at Northwest Shoals Community College. He was a friend and colleague. He cared deeply for all the baseball players that he coached and the other students he taught in classes. May God bless and comfort each of you during this difficult time with his presence as you mourn the loss of your loved one.

  5. Dear Macy Beth, I am so sorry that your dad had to pass from this world so soon . I know he was a great father, and you loved him very much! You have always been a loving , devoted daughter, and I know you were the joy and pride of his life! No one except those who have gone through this , can really know how you are hurting . I do dear, for I lost my dad at 23 just like you , and I know your pain is great, but I know you are a deep believing Christian and love the Lord so much , so I know you possess that hope to see your dad again , and you will and heaven will even be sweeter because your dad is there. I just pray that you will be all right and will keep looking up to the Lord who brings our peace and hope and He will to you too. I will be thinking and praying for you on Saturday, and not just then, but for many days ahead .love Jane Knight

  7. Coach Lee is someone I’ll always respect and hold in the highest esteem. He was a fantastic coach but an even better person. I have a lot of great memories of our time at UNA and have been fortunate enough to have kept in touch with him in the time since then. To the family, Coach Lee was a great one and I have been Blessed to have known him as a Coach and a friend. May the Lord get you through this. Coach Lee, I’ll see you again.

  8. I have so many memories of Mark from the church we all attended when we were very young. But one of my favorites would be when he used to lead the singing. One Sunday I handed him a chewing gum wrapper with songs written on it to sing and he obliged me that Sunday. I’ll never forget that and so many other memories. By the way I still have that wrapper in one of my Bibles. Yes he handed it back to me after the singing was over.

I offer my condolences to his Daughter, Brother, Sister and his parents and all of the family. We knew them all very well. You are remembered in my thoughts and prayers daily.🙏💙
