Louise M. Sawyer, age 98, of Killen, passed away December 15, 2021.  The family will receive friends at Center Star Baptist Church on Sunday, December 19, from 1:00 – 2:00 p.m.  The funeral service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the church, with Brother Ronnie Jones officiating.  Burial will be at Center Star Cemetery.  Williams Funeral Home is directing.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 49 years, Wilson Sawyer; parents, Carl and Ruby Murphy; siblings, Bea, Opal, Betty, Delane and Carl; and great-grandson, Cody Roberts.

Survivors include her children, Tom Brandon (Phyllis) and Diane Mauldin; step-children, Juanita Owens, Paul Sawyer, Roy Sawyer, Peggy Ellis and Gennie Ihrie; grandchildren, Alan Roberts, Jennifer Brutus (Jean-Marc), Troy Brandon, Andrew Brandon, Angeli Rickard (Benji) and step-grandson, Devin Briley (Bethany); great-grandchildren, Abbey Rickard, Clay Rickard, Levi Rickard and Brandon Roberts; and best friend, Pam Davis.

Louise was a member of the First Baptist Church in Center Star.  She loved walking, working in her rose garden, reading the Bible, playing Solitaire, and spending time with her best friend, Pam.  Her first love, however, was spending time with her family.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the First Baptist Church of Center Star.  The family would like to express their appreciation to Kindred at Home Home Healthcare for the amazing care they provided.
