Charles Henry Phillips, age 80, of Waterloo, passed away May 10, 2023. The family will receive friends at Williams Funeral Home of Florence, on Saturday, May 13, 2023, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. The service will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Wayne Woods officiating. Burial will be at Murphy’s Chapel.
Mr. Phillips was preceded in death by his father, William Phillips; mother, Ophelia Carter Phillips; wife, Mary Joyce Phillips; daughter, Charlotte Pickens; and grandson, Michael A. Phillips.
Survivors include his children, Charles Wilburn Phillips (Sheila) and Tony Henry Phillips (Kay); grandchildren, Nicole Holt, Bo Pickens, Ashley Phillips, Catelyn Phillips, and Casey Edwards; sister, Belinda Phillips Murphy (Marvin Steve); and several great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Shannon Murphy, David Pickens, Charles Holt, DeWayne Coaker, Bo Pickens, and Brandon Edwards.
Mr. Phillips was a member of Hendrick Chapel Church.
