Linda I. Martin, age 83, of Florence, passed away May 15, 2023. Visitation will be Thursday, May 18, from 12:00 – 1:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will start at 1:00 pm with Greg Burnett officiating and the burial will follow in Piney Grove Cemetery.

Mrs. Martin is preceded in death by her parents, Mabel Newton and Tonice Ingrum.

She is survived by her husband, Dan Martin; children, David Martin (Martha), and Jill Duncan (Darren); siblings, James Ingrum, Virginia Braswell, and Ann Olive. Additional survivors include her grandchildren, Zac Duncan, Ryan Duncan (Jessie), Victoria Williams, and Rebecca Warrington (Michael); great-grandchildren, Aiden Duncan, Theo Williams, and Gabriel Warrington.

Mrs. Martin enjoyed reading, working, exercising, and working in the yard. She loved being with people, and helping people go to work. She also was a member of St. John Methodist Church, and had four years of college and a BS degree.

Serving as pallbearers are Jerry Mask, Jim Hughes, Ryan Duncan, Zac Duncan, Darren Duncan, and Jack Sullivan. Honorary pallbearers are Ray McDaniel and auction friends.
