Brenda Gail Howard, of Florence, passed away on Saturday, January 6th, 2024. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 9th at Williams Funeral Home of Florence from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. Service will follow in the Williams Funeral Home chapel with Truman Sutton officiating. Brenda will be laid to rest in New Bethal cemetery. Pallbearers include Tanner Howard, Matthew Weaver, Manual Smith, Clay Howard, Harley Futtrell, Dakota Heupel, Prestin Turner, and Bradley Rich.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Alfred and Imogene Turner, her daughter, Rhonda Howard, and brother Jimmy Turner.
She is survived by her husband William Howard, children; Tanner Howard and Christy Hampel (Paul), brothers; William Turner (Kathy), Michael Turner (Christy) and Timothy Turner (Christina). Grandchildren; Alyssa Thompson, Ashley Hampel, Brittney Lauck (Dillon), Courtney Curtis (Zach) along with great-grandchildren; Kobe Walker, Corbin Herston, Calla Herston, Skylar, Zane, Isabella, Piper, Payton, and Addison as well as Brenda’s sister-in-law, Sue Smith (Manual), and all additional family and friends.
Brenda was a kind woman who enjoyed spending time birdwatching. Many memories were made in Brenda’s kitchen where she loved to cook. More than anything, she loved spending quality time with beloved family members.
The family would like to thank Southern Care Hospice for their services. Kristy, Misty, and Carol Walker for the love and care provided.
