Martha Jane Liles Staggs age 75, passed away on December 30, 2023. Visitation will be Sunday evening December 31, 2023 at Williams Funeral Home of Florence from 6:00 p.m. till 8:00 p.m. Services will be held at Williams Funeral Home chapel on Monday, January 1, 2024 AT 10:00 a.m. with David Gallaher officiating. The burial will be at Railroad cemetery in Iron City, Tennessee.

The pallbearers will be Tyler Hensley, Mack Hensley, Chris King, Dakota Benefield, Cody Thigpen, and P.J. Aday. Honorary pallbearers will be Johnny “Peanut” Hensley, Mack Hudson Hensley and nephews.

Mrs. Staggs passed within hours after the passing of her husband Pete of 60 years. She is proceeded in death by: Parents Henry “Buster” Liles and Emma Richardson Liles. Brothers: Roland Liles, Thomas “Tommy” Liles, Quintan Liles, O’neal Liles. Sisters: Annis Littleton, Joyce Ross, Etta Mae Barnett, Mary Edith Wright, Wanda Gail Brown, Sybil Liles and Elizabeth Liles.

Martha is survived by a brother Ronnie Dale Liles. Her children: Dewayne Staggs (Wanda), Marcie Hensley (Terry), April Thigpen (Dell) and Toria Weems. Ten grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who enjoyed sewing, crafting and spending time with her family.
