Rose Marie “Ree” Greenhill, age 83, formally of Florence, AL, passed away on Friday, September 28, 2018, in Maggie Valley, NC.

Rose’s “Ree” pleasure in life was shopping and getting her hair done.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James “Jim” Greenhill; Parents: Floyd and Maggie Jenkins; Father-in-law, James Edward Greenhill; Mother-in-law, Susie Nelson; Step-sons, Brian Greenhill and James Edward Greenhill; Step-granddaughter, Shawna Mascolino. Sisters: Betty Ruth Cox (Roy); Martha Mann (Etsel); Barbara Garbell (Jerry); Julia Mitchell (Jimmy); Lois White (Bobby); Brother: William “Bill” Jenkins. Survivors: Step-daughters: Vivian Aldridge (David) of Maggie Valley, NC and Debbie Wells (Ed) of Scottsboro, AL; Step-grandchildren: Jimmy Greenhill and Amanda Hopkins. Step-greatgrandchildren: Gabriele Gelenski, Kaitlyn Gelenski, Adriana Malone, Raymond James Mascolino. Step- great, greatgrandchildren: Alison Malone and Colton Malone; Sister-in-law: Janice Jenkins; Numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be Thursday, October 4, 2018, from 11 am-1 pm at Spry-Williams Funeral Home, Florence. The service will follow at 1 pm, in the funeral home chapel, with Brother Dale Boren officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens. Pallbearers: Jamie Cox, Jeffrey Cox, Larry Cox, Billy Jenkins, Harris Newman, Dennis Mann, Roger Mann Rose was a member of Florence Blvd Church of Christ.
