Hilda Lacy Wilson passed away May 26, 2023, of natural causes at the Glenwood Center in Florence, Alabama. She was 96 years old.

Ms. Wilson was born in Mt. Pleasant, Tennessee, and lived the past 80 years in the Quad Cities. She was married to the late Charles Wilson from 1952 to 1954. After graduating from Auburn University with a BS degree in Laboratory Medicine, she worked as a Medical Technologist at Helen Keller Hospital eventually becoming Chief Medical Technologist. She was a long-time member of Highland Baptist Church.

She is survived by her nieces Marie Lacy Schichman and her husband Steven of Little Rock, AR; Carolyn Sims and her husband Jack of Columbia, TN; Margaret Deltoro of Pulaski, TN; Alice Wareham and her husband Ron of Atlanta, GA; and nephew Stephen Lacy and his wife Leslie of Lansing, MI.

A graveside service will be held at Greenview Memorial Gardens in Florence on Friday, June 2, 2023, at 11:00 am. Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family.
