Mary Frances “Fran” Freeman Dyar, age 86, passed away June 11, 2021. Visitation will be Friday, June 18, 2021 at 11:00 am at Williams Funeral Home and a graveside service will follow at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens at 12:00 pm.

Preceding Fran in death are her parents, Thomas Grady Freeman and Irene Wooten Freeman Wade; Husband, Vance Carrol Dyar.

She is survived by two daughters, Jacqueline Dyar Logan of Atlanta, Georgia and Deborah Dyar White (David) of Mobile, Alabama; grandchildren, Brandon Michael Logan, Taylor David White (Betsy), Hannah Elizabeth White; great grandchildren, Elizabeth Dyar White and Margaret Frances White; nieces, Tewan Dyar Fair and Tammy Dyar Hollis; and many beloved cousins.

She was a member of Wood Avenue Church of Christ when she resided in Florence, Alabama. She became a member of the Brookside Chapel when she moved to Mobile, Alabama ten years ago. The family would like to thank Crowne Health Care of Springhill in Mobile, Alabama and ComfortCare Hospice for the loving, compassionate care everyone on their staff gave and provided. We will be forever grateful for the kindness that was shown to our Mother.

  1. Fran was such a sweet and elegant lady. I always enjoyed giving her a hug, pulling her chair out for her at lunch, and just sharing a smile. She will be missed —-my heart and prayers to the family!

  2. I so missed her after she moved to her daughter’s. So sad to hear that the world has lost that infectious laugh and beautiful smile. Her spirit brightened any room she entered. May God gaze on her with favor.
