Mary Elizabeth Twitty, age 72, passed away at her home Saturday, June 12, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. Visitation will be Tuesday, June 15 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home Chapel. The service will start at 1:00 pm with Pastor Chris Aday officiating and burial will follow in Rogers Chapel.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents Virgil Herman Keeton and Rosa Lee Nobles Keeton; brothers, Herman Ray Keeton, Ronnie Dale Keeton, Donnie Ray Keeton; sister, Gracie Faye Burns; son, Charles Willis Twitty, Jr.; great-granddaughter, Ashlyn Brooke Bryant

Survivors include children, Rebecca Greenhill (Regis), Michael Twitty, Ronald Twitty (Jenny); siblings, Virgil (Turtle) Keeton, Vella Ruth Stutts, Barbara Ann Griffin; grandchildren, Kayla Lauhoff, Tyler Davenport, Chuck Twitty, Jessica Rickard, Kaylee Twitty, Ashley Hayes, and Shayla Chambers; also ten great-grandchildren.

Mary was a loving mother and grandmother and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was extremely generous and had a heart of gold. She dedicated her life at ECM hospital working for 40 years in housekeeping and was loved by all her co-workers.

Serving as pallbearers are Ryan James, Steven Keeton, Billy Kryston, Doug Knighten, Darrel Keeton and Matt Bunk. Honorary pallbearers will be Tyler Davenport and Chuck Twitty.

  1. This was the most selfless woman I knew who loved her family without hesitation!! God sure gained an angel when He took her! My thoughts and prayers are with all family and friends!

  2. My Mawmaw was the best woman that ever lived raised me like I was her own child gave me everything I ever asked for and made sure I was taken care of I love you so much rest in heaven
