Fredia Jo Lawson, age 69, of Florence, Alabama, passed away June 14, 2021 at her home. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 16, 2021 from 9:30 – 11:00 am at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with service starting at 11:00 am and burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Monroe Lawson, Jr.; daughter, Jessica Joette Thigpen; granddaughter, Graceanne Joette Thigpen; father, William Glenn Seal.

Survivors  include her mother, Jo Wood; children, Kenya Robinson; sister, Glenda Melton (Duke); grandchildren, Rebecca Risner, Kimberly Myrick (Andrew), Laura Robinson; great-grandchildren, Addison Risner, Emma Risner, Amber Myrick and Logan Myrick.

Fredia was a member of Community Freewill Baptist Church and Florence Quilt Brigade. She enjoyed singing gospel music.
