June 14, 1966 - June 19, 2021

Mickey Dale Hyde, age 55, of Florence, Alabama, passed away June 19, 2021, at home with his family beside him. Visitation will be Monday, June 21, 2021, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm at One Lost Sheep Chapel. Funeral will start at 2:00 pm with ministers Doc Shell and Bill Hubbell officiating. Burial will follow in Lindsey’s Chapel.

He was preceded in death by his parents James Earl Hyde and Alma Lee Walker Hyde; Rita Clemmons and Donna Tank.

Mickey loved the Lord with all of his heart. He loved preaching and helping anyone that was in need. Playing guitar and singing was his passion. His favorite hobby was spending time with his family and friends and spoiling his granddaughter. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing, planting a garden, and anything outdoors. He always wanted to be doing something, he didn’t enjoy sitting still.

Survivors include his daughters, Tiffany Powell (Josh) and Nikki Raines (Nathan); siblings, Rickey Hyde (Mary), Shelia Staggs (David), and Debbie Clemmons; grandchildren, Kaycee Mae Powell and little Rylen Rey Powell on the way.

Serving as pallbearers are Nathan Raines, Josh Powell, Bud Staggs, Thomas Tank and Charles Tank.

The family would like to thank Teresa Terry, Alvin and Stella Thigpen, Bill Hubbell and Doc Shell for the love, support and care over the past few months. Also a special thank you to Amedisys Hospice and all who helped loved him.
