Christina
Schweighardt

May 19, 1949 - February 26, 2019

Chris Schweighardt, age 69, of Florence, passed away February 26, 2019.  Her memorial service will be Friday, March 1, 2019 at 4:00 p.m. at Parkway Community Church of God in Florence. Larry Young will officiate.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Selma Ingram; sister, Nadine Brown; and brothers, Donald, Hillis and Ronald Ingram.

She is survived by her daughter, Sherry Gresham and husband, Shannon; special friend, Jimmy Cromwell; and nieces and nephews.

Chris was a devoted worker to her business, Chris’ Painting.  She loved to help choose colors and loved to paint as well as taking care of those who worked for her or for whom she worked.  She was tender hearted and had a great love for people as well as animals, especially her dogs.

Chris was a loving person who loved her family and friends.  She was giving, friendly, helpful, tried to see the best in everyone, and hardly ever met a stranger.  Of all of the things she did in her life, she would say that she is the most proud that she believes in Jesus.  She would talk about the Bible saying “This is your road map, follow it.”  She would talk of her faith, enjoyed readings of scripture, and loved her church family at Parkway Community Church of God.  Chris was a strong, beautiful lady, inside and out, who is greatly loved and will be missed by many.

A special thanks to Glenwood Healthcare Rehab, Mitchell-Hollingsworth Rehab and North Alabama Medical Center for your care.  An extra special thanks and sincere appreciation to Dr. Felix Morris and his staff who provided care, help and comfort.  You may sign the guest register at sprywilliams.com
