Bobbie Elliott

“Bobbie” Mary F. Elliott, age 90, of Florence entered into her eternal rest on Saturday, April 27, 2019.

There will be a Celebration of Life Service this Saturday, May 4th  at 12:00 Noon at Central Baptist Church, 1600 Huntsville Road, Florence, Alabama with Pastor Tommy Ferguson officiating. The family will receive friends at 11:00 A.M. prior to the service.

Mrs. Elliott committed her life to her Lord and Savior and was also dedicated to her family, her church, and many loving and precious friends. She served as a Pre-School Sunday School teacher for 2 year olds for several decades and  served on various committees in her church.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Kirk and Callie Finney; husband, William E.”Bill” Elliott; and brother, Billy Finney.

Survivors include:

Children: Debbie Elliott Haun (Jack) of Port Orange, FL

Janet Elliott Wicks (Ronnie) of Sheffield, AL

William G. “Bill” Elliott (Kim) of Florence, AL

Grandchildren: Shelley Wicks Dawson (Joey)

Christopher Elliott Haun (Jeneice)

Jeremy Ronald Wicks

Caroline Elliott Littrell (Jerad)

Kirk Anderson Haun

Great-Grandchildren: Landon Dawson, Evey Dawson, Caden Wicks, Parker Haun, Ella Kate Dawson, and Callie Littrell

A very special thanks is extended to her loving care giver, Rhonda Gooch and her many caring and precious friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be given to Central Baptist Church, 1600 Huntsville Road, Florence, AL 35630.

She was a great lady, a great friend, and a great child of God… she was a true example and mentor of a life lived for God… we love her and will miss her but rest in the joyful knowledge that we will see her again one glorious day…
