Cecil M. Driggers, age 93, of Tuscumbia, passed away May 7, 2019. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Shoals Memory Gardens in Tuscumbia, with Pastor Robert Jackson, Jr. officiating.
Mr. Driggers was as World War II veteran, servicing in the US Navy Seabees. He was retired from Ford Motor Company where he was a maintenance foreman. Mr. Driggers was a member of the Baptist faith and loved the Bible. He could quote an appropriate passage for any situation. He loved building and repairing things, riding his motorcycle and gardening, but his first love was his family.
He was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Daphne “Meme”; daughter, Kathleen Turner; and grandchildren, Karen Turner and Matthew Driggers. Survivors include his children, Larry (Lisa) Driggers and Darleen Estis; grandchildren, Christi (Stacy) Estis, Jennifer (Fred) Chesser, Misti Estis, Dawn Driggers and Aylissa Murphy; great-grandchildren, Natalie Thurman, Emily (Nicolas) Perry, Kaden Ambrose, Grace Ambrose, Sarah Ambrose, Tarah Ambrose, Tarran Driggers, Abby Murphy, Aaron Kyle, Alexia Kyle and Abigail Kyle; great-great-grandchildren, Tucker Perry and Jaxson Perry.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wounded Warriors.

It was my pleasure of known this great man, I will miss all the stories he told me about his wife on how they met and about the war stories but he’s with his love of his life his wife and he’s not suffering any more R.I.P.Mr Driggers
