After a hard fought battle, Delbert Olive, Sr., left this world on May 9, 2019. He was born prematurely on March 19, 1948. Against all odds, he survived and grew into a man of character, a man that loved everyone, especially his family.
Left to grieve his passing is his wife of 50 years, Stella Smith Olive; daughters, Jennifer Olive McClung (John), Tracee Olive Jenkins (Darryl), and his son, Delbert Olive, Jr.; grandchildren, Logan, Ethan and Hayden Jenkins, Meagan Olive Simpson (Tyler), Mitchell Olive (Haley), Mackenzie Olive (Benji), Zachary Olive, Kennedy Tucker, Gatlin McClung (Anna Kathryn), Mary-Katelyn McClung (Caleb), sister, Patsy Olive Tidwell and special brother-in-law, Jessie Tidwell; his beloved dog, Abby Ann; and numerous nieces and nephews. Delbert also had many friends that he loved as family.
Visitation will be at Spry~Williams Funeral Home Sunday May 12 at 2:00 pm. with services to follow at 3:00 pm. Delbert and his family have requested that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in his name to Davita Dialysis, Dr. Hicks Blvd location.

Stella, Jennifer and family. I’m so sorry for your loss. You are all in my prayers. Mr Delbert was one of a kind and I’m so glad that I had the privilege of meeting him.
Delbert was such a sweet, kind & loving man. My heart breaks for the family but I am praying for God’s peace in knowing he is healed now. Delbert you are resting peacefully in the arms of Jesus.
