March 19, 1948 - May 9, 2019

After a hard fought battle, Delbert Olive, Sr., left this world on May 9, 2019.  He was born prematurely on March 19, 1948.  Against all odds, he survived and grew into a man of character, a man that loved everyone, especially his family.

Left to grieve his passing is his wife of 50 years, Stella Smith Olive; daughters, Jennifer Olive McClung (John), Tracee Olive Jenkins (Darryl), and his son, Delbert Olive, Jr.; grandchildren, Logan, Ethan and Hayden Jenkins, Meagan Olive Simpson (Tyler), Mitchell Olive (Haley),  Mackenzie Olive (Benji), Zachary Olive, Kennedy Tucker, Gatlin McClung (Anna Kathryn), Mary-Katelyn McClung (Caleb), sister, Patsy Olive Tidwell and special brother-in-law, Jessie Tidwell; his beloved dog, Abby Ann; and numerous nieces and nephews. Delbert also had many friends that he loved as family.

Visitation will be at Spry~Williams Funeral Home Sunday May 12 at 2:00 pm. with services to follow at 3:00 pm. Delbert and his family have requested that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in his name to Davita Dialysis, Dr. Hicks Blvd location.
