Dorothy Mae Taylor, age 86, of Florence, passed away June 10, 2019. Visitation will be Thursday, June 13, from 11:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Brother Jerry Crowden officiating. Burial will be at Barnett Cemetery in Lexington.
Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, J.T. Taylor; daughter Pamela Landers; son-in-law, Howard Landers; and parents, Virgil and Swannie Alexander. Survivors include her son, Keith Taylor (Karen); grandchildren, Kimberly Moss (Keith), Courtney Landers and Rachel Landers and Stephanie Taylor; great-grandchildren, Alli Moss, Kristen Moss, Katie Moss, Landon Sharpston, and Kyleigh, Kynzleigh and Kyngston Landers; great-great grandchildren, Paisley and Peyton Shook.
Dorothy was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished her family and her beloved pet Buster.
