Robert Dale “Bob” Abernathy, age 75, of Florence, passed away Saturday, October 12, 2019. Visitation will be Tuesday, October 15, from 12:00 – 1:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

He was retired from Frederickson’s Tire and Appliance after 35 years, where he served as credit manager. He also was the owner/operator of Bob’s Bushhogging. He was the happiest when he was on his tractor.

Survivors include his wife of 20 years, Martha Dawson Abernathy; children, Bobbie Bouldin, Keith (Paige) Abernathy, Mary Beth Sizemore, Monica Cunningham and Shawn (Blair) Cunningham; grandchildren, Grayson Abernathy, Tyler and Zackary Poss, Nathan, Sawyer and Jordyn Cunningham, and Addison and Trent Sizemore; 3 great-grandchildren; brother, Charles Abernathy; and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Kenneth Dawson, Dalton Jones, Leon Wesson, Shawn Cunningham, Zackery Poss and Roger Howard.
