Tracy Bryan Jones

Tracy Bryan Jones, of Savannah, TN, was born on January 30, 1966 in Florence, Al. to Loudean Shilling and the late Coon Jones.  He departed this life on October 28, 2019, at Hardin County Medical Center at the age of 53 years.

On April 8, 1989, he was united in marriage to Shanna Highland.  He worked in the log woods for 25 years.  In his early career, he spent many days on the river diving for mussels.

Tracy was a loving husband, father, but his favorite title was Papaw.

In addition to his loving wife, Shanna, he is survived by his children, Brittney Miller and husband, Chris, of Oxford, AL, and Cody Jones, Keshia Jones and Ryan Jones, all of Savannah; grandchildren, Wesley Jones and Britleigh Miller, and baby William Gentry, due in December; sister, Leslie Jones; brothers, Joey Jones, Corey Jones and Keith White; and special friend, Chad Ingle.

Pallbearers will be Cody Jones, Ryan Jones, Jamie Highland, Cole Highland, Chad Ingle and Shannon Sharp.  Serving as honorary pallbearers will be Billy Lard, Joey Jones, Corey Jones, Benji Odom, Frankie Taylor and Clown Ingle.

Visitation will be held at Second Creek Church of Christ, 15 Highway 69, Savannah, TN, on Friday, November 1, from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m.  The funeral will be Saturday, November 2, at 1:00 p.m. with viewing beginning at 10:00 a.m. with David Highland and David Rushlow officiating.  Burial will be at Mt. Olive Cemetery in Waterloo.

My heart goes out to shanna n the kids I have no words to ease your pain he was a kind man and a great uncle I am so sorry for your heartaches shanna n tracy made the 12hr drive to say a final goodbye to their nephew Christopher in 2014 although I did not speak to anyone I knew they were their .I wish we could be their for you shanna..you are in my thoughts..l

  2. Tracy I love you and thank You for the 53 years of life we spent together! Thank You for all the laughs, the joy and the huts as a kid we enjoyed! I will miss you forever and always…You are such a great person and such a positive outlook when things were darkest…I hope I follow your footsteps in this area…
