Joseph “Ashton” Aigner, “BIG A”, age 18, of Sheffield, passed away Saturday, November 16, 2019. Graveside service will be Saturday, November 23rd at 12:00p.m. at New Bethel Cemetery in Tuscumbia, Al.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Gene & Betty Ann Long and Joe & Edna Aigner.
Survivors are his mother, Genoa Aigner and step-father Luis Martinez; father Joe Aigner; sisters Kaitlyn, Heather, Kasi Aigner; niece and nephews, T.J. & Nevaeh Mitchell, Skylinn & Oakley Vandiver, Wesley & Devin Singh and Destiney Green.

Ashton was such a joy to be around and had a heart of GOLD! Genoa, you are a beautiful person and I cannot imagine the pain you are going through. I love you so much and I am praying for you all!

Dang man , I first moved to Sheffield from Brooklyn, New York in 2012. Ashton was one of the first yet one of the few that gave me a warm embracing. A true friend. I would and haven’t ever forgotten that, so much even that I stayed looking on Facebook to find him. The year is 2022 and it hurt to see that the friend I searched for had passed away a couple years ago, Ashton I will always love and remember you buddy, Untill we meet again, Your New York friend-Hassan
