One Comment on “Effie Norine Lindsey”

  1. My heart is so saddened this morning at seeing Mrs. Effie has died, but elated that she is with Jesus. I want to apologize also. I had no idea she was still living. When she moved from McIntyre Lane, we lost touch and I’m so sad I didn’t keep up with her. I have so very many wonderful memories of being at her house in the summer, and sitting on the carport talking about anything from whats going on in the world or in our neighborhood. She was always kind to me, and I appreciated her no-nonsense personality too. If you asked her something, you better want to know the truth about it. lol. Some of my favorite memories were spending time playing with Felicia when we were little during the summers she came to visit. We were fast friends. Got my first real scar crawling through the fence behind her house with Felicia playing…and the barbed wire got me. She doctored me up and talked to me about learning a lesson about why the barbed wire was there to begin with. To keep you from going past it, and things like that happen when you don’t follow the rules. How I loved her, and I’m so thankful I had her in my young life. Praying for your whole family. Wish I could attend on Friday, but will be out of town. Know that my thoughts and prayers are with you all.
