Viginia Carol Shaneyfelt, age 79, of Florence, AL, passed away December 13, 2019. A celebration of her life will be held at a later date.
Mrs. Shaneyfelt was born in Poplar Bluff, MO, to John Earl Bone and Lina Odessa Cox Bone. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by her husband, Larman Shaneyfelt; and sons, Danny and Brian Shaneyfelt.
Survivors include her children, Deborah Huston and husband, Fred, and Mark Shaneyfelt and wife, Monica; 13 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.

Although I had known Mrs Shaneyfelt for a short time, after she moved to Alabama, we became fast friends. She was a kind soul, with a big heart. We were blessed to share some long conversations, and many stories of her life.
She will be missed. Prayers for all who loved her.
