Michael Ray Borschnack, age 64, of Florence, passed away January 9, 2020. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
Michael was a father, and grandfather and great friend to all who knew him. He loved to fish and walk and loved to read. He loved to spend time with his family.
He was preceded in death by his parents; Joseph & Opal Borshnack, sister, Betty Ann Borshnack, brother; Roger Borshnack;.
Survivors include his loving wife of 36 years, Helen Berka; children, Melissa Clemmons (Chad), James Smith, Candace Overacker, (Heath), Kelly Bessette, (Randy), Deseree Sorenson, Brother John Borschnack (Ann), grandchildren, Jolee Justin, James Bessette, Mariah Haddock, Brittney Ward, Alisa Smith, Gregory Barker, Jacob Clemmons, Jason Smith, Tami Clemmons, Chyenne Henderson, (Jacon), Katelyn Overacker (Tony) Kyle Overacker (Kristina), great-grandchildren Callie Smith, Serenity Mcgee, Bobby Haddock Jr., Jaxson & Lukas Overacker, Bedeliah Henderson.

Mike was a good friend to me and it was a blessing to work alongside him as a coworker in housekeeping at AWBC! He was like a grandfather to me, kept me out of trouble, and if I was feeling real down he had a way of lifting my spirits up. I will miss him and I’m praying for his families loss. He was loved by all who knew him and respected him. I will treasure the memories of him forever and praying to God to help his family during this time.
