Sarah Elizabeth Trousdale, age 89, of Florence, passed away January 26, 2020. Visitation will be Wednesday, January 29, from 10:00 – 10:30 a.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. A graveside service will follow at 11:00 a.m. at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Trousdale was preceded in death by her husbands, Forrest Ramage and Virgil Trousdale; parents, Jannie & Felix Herndon; daughter, Janice McLaughlin; and sister, Frances Green.

Survivors include her daughter, Danice Gentle; sister, Ann Hester; grandchildren, Mary Murdock (Alex), Calvin McLaughlin, and Amanda Powell (Jamie); great-grandchildren, Linus Ellingson, Lydia Murdock, Kevin Powell and Macey Powell.

Mrs. Trousdale was very active in providing clothing to needy children. She was a spunky, happy lady who loved playing jokes on family and friends. She loved candy, loved life, but most of all, loved her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who adored her in return.
