Vernon Ray Carpenter, age 75, of Tuscumbia, passed away May 19, 2020. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 28, at 10:00 a.m. at Providence Baptist Church Cemetery in Town Creek.
Mr. Carpenter was preceded in death by his mother, Lou Velma Aldridge; father, John Carpenter; and brothers, Melvin, Paul and Leldon Carpenter.
Survivors include his children, Brandon Carpenter and wife, Renae, Stacey Vandiver, Shane Carpenter and Brittany Wright; grandchildren, Phoenix, Greyson, Jonathan and Colton Carpenter and Chase and Alexa Vandiver; and sisters, Jean Jones and Hazel Agee.
Mr. Carpenter loved playing music.
