Peggy Sue South, age 82, of Florence, passed away June 6, 2020. A graveside service will be held Saturday, June 13, at 10:00 a.m. at Greenview Memorial Gardens.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, William and Ruby Chambers; sister, Bennie Branch; and son, Bobby L. South. Survivors include her sons, William T. South and Timothy K. South; brother, Myron Scott Chambers; 7 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
Peggy enjoyed gardening and was proud of her irises.
The family would like to thank Florence Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the activities fund at Florence Nursing and Rehab.

I knew Peggy though her son Tom South who is my SIL. He has shared so many wonderful stories over the years and he is broken hearted over her death. She made a difference in his life and the life of many others. May she RIP
