Walter Fred Jones, age 69, of Florence, passed away June 26, 2020. A graveside service will be held Monday, June 29, at 11:00 a.m. at Peters Cemetery in Florence.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Ada Retner and Jessie Willard Jones; wife, Annette Behel Jones; and siblings, Daniel Ray Jones, Leon Jones, Robert Jones, Johnnie Jones, Jewelldine Jones and Elizabeth Jones.
Survivors include his children, Ronnie Jones and Sarah Jones; grandchildren, Tiffany Alfaro, Lilly Palacios, Katlyn Jones, Zackary Jones, Kellie Sizemore and Trey Sizemore; great-grandchildren, Zayden Alfaro, Charlie Burgess, Nila Burgess and Hailee Storeman; brothers, Clarence Jones, Herbert Jones and Lonnie Jones; and sisters, Dorothy Faye Brown and Virginia May Kennedy.
Pallbearers will be Lloyd Davis, Brandon Davis, Harley Davis, Dakota Behel, Phillip Stuffabean and Charles Wright.
Mr. Jones attended Christian Fellowship Church. He loved fishing and basketball.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to defray funeral expenses.

I love you Uncle Fred, we miss you so much already. Daddy lost his son in law and you at the same time. I just know the 2 if you are aggravating each and talking about who can catch the biggest fish. Go rest now on that mountain. You get to be with mamaw and papaw and all your brothers and sisters.
