Sue Barnett Martin, age 65, of Florence, passed away July 6, 2020. A celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, July 8, at 1:00 p.m. at the First Baptist Church of Center Star. Brother Ronny Jones will officiate.

Ms. Martin was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Leon and Cecil Newton Jordan Barnett; brothers, Bobby and John Arthur Barnett; and sisters, Betty Traylor, Frances Dennison and Margaret Lynn.

Survivors include her daughters, Lisa Martin Blansett of Florence, and Renee Martin McCluskey (Jasen) of Tuscaloosa, AL; grandchildren, Jared Martin, Madison Blansett, Gunner McCluskey and Marti McCluskey; great-grandchild, Olive Martin; sisters, Madoline Thurn, Marie Posey (David) and Grace Wilkerson; and brothers, Ernest Jordan (Jeanette) and Morris Jordan.

She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Center Star.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Kindred Hospice, the SS Class at First Baptist Church, and her caregivers from Pride Senior Care, Ty, Prudence, Lauren and Joseline for the love and care shown to our mother.     In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Library Fund at First Baptist Church of Center Star.
