  1. Our deepest sympathy is extended to all of Carlene’s family and friends. She was a great part of the Wilson School group . . . the students loved her. We always enjoyed seeing her out and about enjoying her well-deserved retirement.
Our prayers are for your comfort & good memories at this difficult time.

  2. I loved Carlene! She was my bus driver and she worked in the store at school. I’d sit in the front seat most of the time on the bus and Carlene would sing, and I’d hear her and get her to sing louder, when most of the other kids got off the bus. My sisters and I were first on and last off. She taught me that old song, It Wasn’t God Who Made Honky Tonk Angels, and I’d sing with her. I saw her at a yard sale several years ago and got a big hug from her. I am a teacher and a substitute bus driver now, and I hope kids love me like they did Carlene! She was wonderful!

  3. Condolences to all the family. Carlene was a very sweet person. Was our kids bus driver for many years and we’d love to be able to talk to her when we’d see her out.

  4. Mike and Martha, I am so sorry for your loss. Carlene was such a sweet person whom everyone loved. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers during this sad time. Sherry Beasley Hines

  5. Mike, thoughts, prayers, and condolences to you and Martha, and the whole family. Lots of memories of her at the lunchroom/store at Wilson, and she taught me NEVER to give her a wadded up dollar bill. Hope you all find comfort in her memories at this time. Charles Copeland
