Danny Joe Michael, age 71, of Florence, passed away Saturday, November 3, 2018. Visitation will be Wednesday, November 7^th from 12:00 noon until 2:00 pm at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Brother Henry Melton officiating. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Dan was retired from Sears and was a member of Weeden Heights Baptist Church. He was a U.S. Navy veteran having served in Vietnam.

He was preceded in death by his father, Dalton B. Michael; wife, Sarah Michael.

Survivors are his mother, Milinea Michael; daughter, Leca; step-daughters, Donna Jean, Becky and Amy; sister, Regina Hunter; brothers, Roger Michael (Jackie) and Dalton C. Michael (Regina).
