Edith Boykin Milberger, age 80, of Florence, passed away November 23, 2019. A celebration of her life will be held at Spry-Williams Funeral Home at 2:30 p.m. on Monday, November 25, 2019.

She was born in Mobile, Alabama, on December 11, 1938, to the late Ethel and John Boykin. She was the youngest of five children, four of whom preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Patricia Milberger.

Edith was survived by her husband of 58 years, Harold Milberger; her four children, Ricky Milberger, Steve Milberger, Denise Gray and Hal Milberger; two step-children, Helena Gilchrist and Mark Milberger; grandchildren, Leigh Putman, Jennifer Wilson, Ross Hill, Shelley Barnes, Justin Gray, Harrison Milberger, Joshua Wilson, Brandon Milberger, Amber Blanchard, Madison Berry, Haley Milberger and Nathan Milberger; and sixteen great-grandchildren.

She was a proud member of New Beginning Church of Florence.

Her love for crafts and her creative style were among her unique characteristics. She wanted nothing more than her family to understand the importance of family unity.
