Grady Benjamin Franklin Gooch, Sr. age 63, of Florence, passed away Friday, March 8, 2019. Visitation will be Sunday, March 10th from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm at Spry~Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will be Monday, March 11th at 1:00 am in the funeral home chapel with Brother Doug Farris and Brother John Powell officiating. Burial will be at Florence City Cemetery.
Benny was retired with Royster Clark Enterprise and was a member of Underwood Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Elnora Gooch.
Survivors are his wife Thelma Ann Gooch; children, Benji Sharp (Tony), Ben Gooch, Jr. (Dava); stepson, Nathan Williams; brothers, Robert Gooch and Jesse Gooch (Monica) 6 grandchildren. In-lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Spry~Williams Funeral Home for expenses.
