Pauline Young Barnett, age 79, of Florence, passed away May 26, 2019.  The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 29, from 11:30 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home.  The funeral will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel with Michael Cagle officiating.  Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.

Pauline was a member of the Church of Christ.  She worked in the textile industry and later worked for Nelda Stephenson Chevrolet.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Billy L. Barnett; parents, Starlin and Frances Young; son, Tommy L. Barnett; sisters, Shelby Miles and Kathy Jones; and brother, Donnie Young.  Survivors include her son, Tony (Cindy) Barnett; grandchildren, Brian, Chase, Josh, Donovan and Abby Barnett; three great-grandchildren; sister, Betty (Charles) Gray; brother, Ricky (Audrey) Young; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Serving as pallbearers will be her grandsons and Steve Watson and Charles Gray.

The family would like to express their appreciation to Florence Nursing and Rehab and North Alabama Hospice for their loving care.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Activities Fund at Florence Nursing and Rehab.
