Jennie Levon “Von” Pruitt, age 87, of Florence passed away Monday, May 6, 2019.
Visitation will be Wednesday, May 8, 11:30 A.M.-12:30 P.M. at Spry~Williams Funeral Home, Florence. Graveside service will follow at 1:00 P.M. at Piney Grove Cemetery with Bro. Clifford Miles officiating. Grandchildren will serve as pallbearers.
Mrs. Pruitt was a member of Cross Point Church of Christ and was owner of Von’s Wash House in North Florence until the 70’s.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Almond Ray Pruitt, parents, Farris and Annie Bogus, and numerous brothers and sisters.
Survivors include: Children: Beverly Pruitt Ashby (Gaylord), Debra Rich (Steve),
Dennis Pruitt (Lisa); Five Grandchildren and Seven Great-Grandchildren; Numerous Nieces and Nephews.
A special thanks to her care givers, Bonya Ross Guthrie, Deona Russell, and Paula Davis for their love and care.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Alzheimers Association.

Such a wonderful lady who raised her children as God intended. She was so full of love. I always felt like family when I was at her house. Thank God for her and her beautiful family.
