James Richard Riley, age 86, of Leighton, Alabama, passed away on October 18, 2026. Services will be held private.

He was preceded in death by his wife Joan Riley. His parents Harry and Florence Riley. A son, Kevin Riley and granddaughter Brenda Stackpole. Ten brothers and three sisters.

James is survived by two sons, James Riley (Kristy) and Gary Riley.  One brother Roger Riley. Two sisters, Nancy Williams and Shirley Henderson. Three granddaughters, Jennifer Hartley (Jason), Haley Riley, and Wahaela Riley. Three grandsons, James Stackpole, Hunter Riley, and Leonard Riley. Three great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Carroll, Alyssa Hartley, and Jacie Hartley. Three great-grandsons, Dylan Carroll, James Joseph Stackpole, and Isaiah McIntyre.

James enjoyed fishing, riding motorcycles and loved animals.
