Brenda Kay Whitaker, age 74, of Lutts, Tennessee, passed away Tuesday, July 21, 2020. A graveside service will be Friday, July 24th at Centenary Cemetery in Lutts, Tennessee with Pastor A.J. Fowler officiating.

Brenda was a member of Love and Truth Church in Savannah, Tennessee and worked closely with her husband at Whitaker Forestry Service.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Albert and Lassye Lewis and husband, Eddie Whitaker.

Survivors are her sons, Eric Whitaker (Brittney) and Wesley Whitaker; sisters, Johnnie Biggert, Rebecca Smith, and Patricia Smith; grandchildren, Easton and Brody Whitaker.

  1. Our thoughts and prayers are with all the family. Brenda was a great aunt while we were growing up and we all loved her a lot. She was a wonderful mom and grandma too. Love , Rick and Denese Wahler and family.

  2. Brenda and Ed were two of the most amazing people I have ever had the pleasure of knowing. Kyle and I are so thankful to have our paths cross theirs. Brenda always showed so much strength. We will miss her just as we miss Ed. Praying for all Eric, Wes, and the rest of the family.

  3. I have fond memories of Brenda while she and Eddie lived in Fulton, Alabama. When I moved to Russellville we talked frequently. Such a sweet, kind and loving lady. Always smiling. My prayers for her sons and family.

  4. My sympathy to Brenda’s family. She was a lovely sweet lady with a kind spirit. I went to school with Brenda at Ramer and was friends with her on FB . I know she will be missed by her family and all her friend. May God grant you all peace and comfort.

  5. Brenda was a wonderful aunt and person. I can’t believe she is gone. She was so sweet and loving and was like a second mom to me while I was growing up. I will always miss her. I am praying for Wes and Eric and family. Rest In Peace, Brenda.
