Regina Gail Johnson, age 43, of Florence, passed away September 15, 2020. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 23, from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. at Spry-Williams Funeral Home. The funeral will follow at 2:00 p.m. in the funeral home chapel. Burial will be at Bethel Berry Cemetery.
She was preceded in death by her father, Danny Johnson; cousin, Renee Bass and Judy Faye Turbyfill.
Regina is survived by her partner, Mike Twitty; children, Ryan James (Savannah Smith), and Kaylee Twitty (Matt); grandchildren, Dahlia, Zachary, and Zhuri; mother, Loretta Johnson; sisters, Jennifer Riley, Ashley Johnson (Eric Alexander), Sharon Glaze, Jennifer Lynn Wilson (Lamont), and Kaydee Goodloe; brothers, Jonathan Glaze (Bri), Joe Johnson and Jason Johnson; and best friend, Ramona Reed.
Regina was a loving mother and grandmother who cherished the time she had with her children and grandchildren. She will be fondly remembered by her beautiful smile, caring heart and love of Alabama football. Although our hearts are heavy, we will celebrate her life and celebrate that she is in heaven watching over us.

Although Regina and I never met in person she was VERY CLOSE to a close personal friend. We spoke often. She had a kind heart and loving soul!
My heart thoughts and prayers are with those loved ones she left behind!
I believe that God puts us here on this earth until our purposes he wrote for us is done; I know she lived her life according to Gods will and fulfilled her purpose!
We may never understand Gods reasoning but I personally trust him.

I saw you the day before this terrible thing happened. You and I had a good run, a fun time and we were great friends! I will miss you but know you are in no more pain… I love you girl and I’ll see you on the other side.
I am glad I got to see you at Paw Paws funeral. You will truly be missed. R.i.p. until we meet again.
