Martha Louella Vinson, age 86 passed away August 14, 2021. Visitation will be Wednesday, August 18, 2021 from 9:00 am – 10:00 am at Williams Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at Butler Cemetery starting at 11:00 am.
Martha was preceded in death by her parents Homer Maples Gautney and Ellie Butler Gautney; husbands, Grady Roy Sledge, Jr. and Charles Vinson; brothers, Toliver and Dwight Gautney.
Survivors include her niece, Pat Yarbrough (Kenny); many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Martha was a member of Happy Valley Baptist Church. She enjoyed cooking, talking, walking, and visiting with people.

You have our condolences in the passing of Martha. She and my mom were neighbors at Montreat. I will always remember her as a kind person.
