Randall Nathan Smith, age 69, of Florence, passed away August 5, 2022. Visitation will be Monday, August 8, at Williams Funeral Home from 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm with service starting at 3:00 pm with Pastor David Gregg officiating.
Randy is preceded in death by his parents and siblings.
Survivors include his loving wife, Bonnie Cornelius Smith; children, Kelly Denise Howard (Hal), Amy Jo Smith, and Jeffrey Randall Smith. Additional survivors include his grandchildren Landon Marcano, Preston Marcano, and Chloe Helms.
Randy loved all the players he had the opportunity to coach. He loved his children, grandchildren and wife, Bonnie, of forty-eight years. He proudly served four years with the United States Air Force.

I knew him as Randall in high school. He was such a nice person. I am so sorry four your loss.
I’ve known this family for a long time! Worked with, and bowled with Bonnie on a team called “Thunder Thighs! Randy and Bonnie were very dedicated to each other for many years. I’m so sorry for the loss of Randy. My prayers and heart-felt thoughts are with you and your family. Love ya’ll.
I am so sorry to hear of Randall’s passing. This picture shows that he had not change much since high school. He was a very nice person and loved playing football for CHS. My heart goes out to his widow and family. May God bring you comfort and peace. RIP Randall. Warriors forever.

He inspired many on the field and in the classroom. I was honored to work and coach with him.
I was so sorry to hear this news. I remember Randall from high school. He was always such a nice, friendly and outgoing guy. I’m not surprised he inspired so many. My heartfelt condolences to his wife Bonnie, their children and grandchildren. I know he will be deeply missed.
Randy was a great friend. When I needed something all I had to do was give him a call. Over the years I watched him say encouraging words to all sorts of people who came by our table at McDonalds. When employees were having a bad day Randy found a way to lift them up. He did that on many occasions. My condolences to Bonnie and the children. I’m going to miss him.
