Ella Doris Hites, 91, Florence, passed away October 30, 2022. Visitation will be Thursday, November 3^rd from 2:00 – 3:00 pm at Pleasant Valley Church of Christ with service starting at 3:00 pm. Burial will follow at Pleasant Valley.  Williams Funeral Home is assisting the family.

Mrs. Hites was preceded in death by her husband, Thomas Hites; daughter, Belinda Hites; granddaughter, Johna Olivia Hites; parents, Johnny  (Shine) Ezell; mother, Lillie Skipworth Ezell. Others preceding Mrs. Hites include her sisters, Elizabeth Gresham, Joyce Robinson, Angela Hice; brothers, Hilton Ezell, Ronald Ezell, Pat Ezell, Larry Ezell, and William (Bill) Ezell.

Survivors include her brother, Jimmy Ezell (Beverly); grandson, J.T. Moore (Anissa); great-grandchildren, Braxton Moore and Lilian Yancey; numerous nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Hites was a seamstress and enjoyed sewing. She loved to cook and was always the first to take food to anyone in need. She was a member of Pleasant Valley Church of Christ in Center Star.

Serving as pallbearers are, Greg Ezell, Tim Ezell, Tyler Ezell, Kollin Barber, Garry Wallace, and Tony Barnett.
