Manuel Portugues, Jr., age 85, of Florence, passed away Friday, November 4, 2022. Visitation will be Saturday, November 12th from 1:00 pm until 2:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The memorial service will follow at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Portugues; daughters, Teresa Crocker and Yvette Wisdom; brother, Mario Portugues.
Survivors are his daughter, Karen Portugues, Susan Pickett (Paul), and Emily Portugues; sister, Margaret Seriel; grandchildren, Cathryn Dunn, Eric Crocker, Alicia Stanford, and JR Pickett; great-grandchildren, Triston Stanford, Brooklyn Crakaal, Tyson Stanford, and Cohen Pickett.
Manuel was a U.S. Army Veteran and was retired with Reynolds Alloys as a Quality Control Technician.

Oh my, I so loved your parents! Your dad was extra special. I am so sorry to see this just today. We were in FL the past few weeks. Just back for the holidays till 2023. He will be missed by many! Peace be with you all!🙏💞🙏
