Robert Deshawn “Shawn Childers, age 61, of Florence, went home to be with Jesus.

He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Gloria Childers; sister, Robin Blackburn; nephew, Austin Williams.

Survivors are his siblings, Cynthia Reynolds, Brenda Childers Pennington, and David Wayne Childers (Carol), and Angie Olive; special friend, Lisa Eaton; numerous nieces and nephews.

Shawn was employed with Heavner Electric Company and was a member of Electricians Local IBEW #558. He was a kind, gentle, uncle, friend to many and loved his family. He always wanted to be recognized by Little Shell Chippewa Heritage. There are no services scheduled at this time.
