Charles Wesley Allen, age 88, of Center Star, went to be with the Lord on January 11, 2023. Visitation will be Sunday, January 15, 2023, from 12:00 – 1:30 pm, in the chapel at Williams Funeral Home. A celebration of his life will follow at 1:30 pm, officiated by Bro. Henry Melton. Graveside will follow at Center Star Church cemetery.
Charles was preceded in death by his parents Nebo and Irene Allen, and sister Betty Riggs.
He was married to the love of his life for 69 years, Kitty Allen. Children, Johnny (Cynthia), Lisa, Randy, and Leanne (Justin). Grandchildren, Whitney, Jason, Tamra, Marianne, Gracie, and Charlie. Great-grandchildren, Cade, Macy, Brylee, Jaxon, Millie, George, and Memphis. Charles was looking forward to welcoming great-grand twins in the spring.
Charles was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. He was an avid storyteller, specifically about his years following retirement as a tour bus driver. Charles was a dedicated member of Faith Tabernacle where he formed lifelong friendships.
