Betty Sue Stevenson age 87 of Waterloo passed away on November 4, 2023. Services were held privately.
She is preceded by her daughter Nancy Pugh, husbands Sam Pugh and Steve Stevenson and her parents Travis and Ruby Colburn and sister Lois Journey.
Betty is survived by her daughter Naomi Kaskie (Jay), a nephew and numerous cousins.
Mrs. Stevenson was a member of the First Baptist Church of Waterloo, Alabama.

Betty was my beautiful aunt. She told me don’t call her Aunt Betty because it made her feel old. So it made me think well I don’t want to be called grandmother because it would make me feel ancient, soy 3 call me Nonnie. She thought that was good We had a lot of fun when I was younger. Christmas was always special with her and all members of our family. I am very sad and heartbroken she is gone and she followed after my Mother died on her birthday July 31 2023.
