Michele Lynn Cox Atkinson, age 46, of Waterloo, AL passed away Saturday, September 2, 2023. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 6th from 12:00 noon until 1:00 pm at Williams Funeral Home of Florence. The service will follow at 1:00 pm in the funeral home chapel with Dennis Oakley officiating. Burial will be at Pisgah Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Andy Oakley, Kevin Oakley, Randy Taylor, David Weese, Scotty Phillips, and Lucas Oakley.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Patricia Cox; daughter, Baylee Atkinson.
Survivors are her husband, Chris Oakley; sons, Harley Oakley, Dusty Oakley, and Bo Atkinson; sister, Shelley Taylor (Randy); grandchildren, Ryland and Jagger and several nieces and nephews.

Prayers for the Atkinson family. I had met Michele a few times while I was teaching and then at the Central Community Center. Such a sweet lady.
