James Edward Powell, Jr. “Babo” age 55, died January 10, 2023, at Northwest Alabama Medical Center after a brief illness.
Visitation will be Saturday, January 14, 2023, from 10 to 11 a.m. at Williams Funeral Home Chapel with Gary Nichols and Licia House officiating.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Edward Powell, Sr.; brother, Melvin Powell; sisters, Sharon Powell, Jennifer Powell; step-father, Michael “Mike” Ash; paternal and maternal grandparents, and his beloved uncle, Larry Condrey.
He is survived by his mother, Sandra Ash, brother, Michael Powell; step-brothers, Jonathan Ash and Matthew Redd; and a host of nieces and nephews.
