Glenda Kaye Tingle, age 74, of Florence passed away March 10, 2024.  Visitation will be at Christian Faith Church (670 Co Rd 257, Florence, Al 35633) from 12 noon until 1:00 pm.  Services will begin at 1:00 pm at the church with burial to follow at Christian Faith Cemetery.  Officiating will be Ronnie McKissack and Dennis Hanvey. Williams Funeral Home of Florence in charge of arrangements.

Pallbearers will be Clay Clemmons, Nick Hinton, Jeremey Stevenson, Justin Keeton, Skylar Murphy and Leo Rogers.  Aaron Risner will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Glenn and Willie Ann Scott; sisters, Pearline Reynolds, Earline Tingle, Jewel Hamm, Brenda Poe and Levon McKissack; brothers, Thurman Scott, Vernon Scott and Dennis Scott; and one niece, Vanessa Scott.

Glenda is survived by one daughter, Sandra Green Ghrigsby; two sons, Jerry Tingle (Melissa), and Jeffrey Tingle (Missy); one sister, Gwen Keeton; one brother, David Scott (Brenda).  Additional survivors include six grandchildren, Heather Stevenson (Jeremy), Zeth Denman, Brady Tingle (Tessa), Kristan Hinton (Nick), Jeremy Blake, and Brooke Clemmons (Clay); eleven great-grandchildren, Aaron Risner, Aaden Hinton, Brodie Stevenson, Bryce Stevenson, Delilah Clemmons, Cypress Clemmons, Cooper Tingle, Cameron Tingle, Finley Tingle, Dakota Roden and Jackson Stevenson.

Mrs. Tingle was a member of Christian Faith Church.  The family would like to give a special thanks to a special friend and caretaker, Katherine McDonald, North Alabama Medical Center and Enhabit Hospice.
