Frances Lee Jones, age 91, of Florence, passed away May 29, 2024. The family will receive friends Sunday, June 2 from 1-2 p.m. at Williams Funeral Home with the service following at 2 p.m. and Brother Jason Davis officiating. Burial will follow in Florence City Cemetery.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill) Jones; and son, Ricky Jones.
Mrs. Jones is survived by her children, Janice Jackson, Stephen Jones (Patricia), Regina Coggins (William), Rebecca Denson (Kenneth), and Debbie Hooper (Earl); brother, JT Lee; sister, Elizabeth Brewer; and daughter-in-law, Gwyn Jones. Additional survivors include 58 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren; and 33 great-great-grandchildren.
Frances was a pastor’s wife for 40 years and was the perfect example of Proverbs 31.

I was saddened to read of your mother’s passing but hope you find comfort in knowing the joy there must have been in heaven. She was a kind, sweet lady & she never had to tell you she loved Jesus. You knew by the way she treated others & lived her life. My sympathy to all of you on your loss.🥀🕊️
