Janice Gail Moore, born on November 1, 1949, in Haleyville, Alabama, passed away peacefully on January 26, 2025, at the age of 75.
A celebration of Janice’s life will take place at Williams Funeral Home on Thursday January 30, at 1:00pm. The family will welcome friends and loved ones from 11:00am to 1:00pm. Bro. Rodney Sparks will officiate the service. Burial will be at Tri-Cities Memorial Gardens.
Janice was preceded in death by her father, Otto Sisson; her pop, CC Schaut; her mother, Etta Schaut; and her brothers, Dee Sisson and Gene Sisson.
She is survived by her devoted husband, Ronnie Moore; her daughters, Leigh Ann Woods (Craig), Nikki Fulmer (John), Heather Whitten (Joey), Missy Walkup (Glenn), and Brandi Grimes (Jesse); as well as her 15 cherished grandchildren and two great-grandchildren who brought immense joy to her life.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.  Sons-in-law along with Brian Rickard, and Randy Clanton will serve as Honorary Pallbearers.
Janice had a zest for life that was evident in her love of travel and country music. She especially enjoyed visiting Gatlinburg and attending Fan Fair, creating memories that will be treasured by those who accompanied her. Her adventurous spirit and kind heart left a lasting mark on all who knew her. A dedicated member of Christian Fellowship Baptist Church, Janice was active in the ladies’ ministry, where she found joy in fellowship and serving others.The family extends their heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Mitchell Hollingsworth and North Alabama Medical Center for their compassionate care during Janice’s final days.
May Janice’s memory bring comfort to those who loved her and serve as a reminder to cherish the moments shared with one another.
